Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 30 mm, 11.77 g, 12 h), Pergamum, 27-26 BC. IMP•CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right; to right, lituus curved to right. Rev. AVGV-STVS Six grain ears tied together. BMC 697. RIC 490. RPC I 2209. Sutherland Group IIIγ. A lovely coin, beautifully toned and with an attractive portrait. Minor marks and with very light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.

From an American collection, ex Roma XXII, 8 October 2021, 531, and previously from a Dutch collection.
